Book Maker is an app that stays on the iPhone. The article, the audio, and your place in it are stored there.
The short version
- There is no account.
- What you add is not uploaded.
- If you add a link, your iPhone opens that page directly, as Safari would. Nothing passes through a Book Maker server.
What stays on the phone
- Text you paste, files you add, and pages the phone opens from a link
- Audio made from that text
- Which article you were listening to, and where you stopped
What the app does not do
Book Maker does not have a sign-in, does not send usage data, and does not send crash reports. Speech is made on the device.
If you delete the app
The library goes with it. There is no server copy to restore.
